Short
Samraj Matharu is an AI and media strategist, founder of The AI Lyceum, author and speaker based in London. He has led media operations and marketing science work across advertiser and agency environments, and advises organisations on practical, responsible AI adoption.
Long
Samraj Matharu is an AI and media strategist, founder of The AI Lyceum, author and speaker based in London. His career spans advertiser and agency environments, including experience at Diageo, FARFETCH, WPP/GroupM, dentsu and Publicis Media, where he worked on media operations, attribution, custom bidding algorithms and marketing technology. He founded The AI Lyceum, a platform and podcast exploring artificial intelligence, philosophy and human judgment, and hosts conversations with researchers and practitioners from organisations including Google DeepMind, Cerebras, UC Berkeley and UCL. He contributed to the founding of the IAB Europe AI Working Group, has given guest lectures on AI and marketing at Durham University Business School, and completed executive education in AI ethics, regulation and compliance at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. He writes on responsible AI, media and the limits of automation.
